Workcover

If you have been involved in a work related accident which has resulted in an injury, our physiotherapists can assessdiagnose and treat any workers compensation claim.

The team at Action Physiotherapy is here to help you through your Insurance claim, from acute pain management right through to strength re-training.

So we can get started on treating your injury ASAP, we need the following from you:
- GP referral
- Workcover Medical Certificate
- Relevant details of your insurer (Claim number, case manager, contact details, etc).

We will invoice the insurer directly. Allowing you to focus on your recovery.

Medicare

A Chronic Disease Management (CDM) plan or as it's formerly called the Enhanced Primary Care Program (EPC) is a program aimed at patients suffering from chronic pain and other various acute conditions.

A CDM or EPC referral allows you to have up to 5 allied health services within the calendar year and is valid for a 12 month period.

If you think you may be eligible for this program please discuss this option with your GP at your next visit. If approved by your GP, please bring along all of your documents to your appointment so we can get started.

Is the appointment free?

While we would love to help you out with free treatment, unfortunately we cannot bulk bill Medicare for Physiotherapy at our clinic, so there will always be a gap payment.

How does the Medicare rebate process work?

At our clinic, the first step is to pay the full fee upfront; But don’t worry, if you have an EFTPOS card that is connected to either a savings or cheque account we can process the $55.10 rebate back into your account from Medicare. It usually arrives in your account within 48hrs.

Or

You can take the invoice to Medicare and they will process the rebate for you.

Remember to bring your Medicare card and any other paperwork relevant to your appointment.
